Since Heitler Houstoun Architects is widely known for the innovative design of Drybar salons, new clients would often approach us with new beauty retail concept ideas. One of my favorites was a nail shop called Paintbucket.  It’s a stylish and vibrant brand with a beautiful customized space featuring a new, more stunning way to browse nail colors.  Each nail color is represented by a painted swatch in the shape of the brand icon.  We wanted guests to be able to see and touch the colors outside of the bottle – just the way it’ll be on their nails.
